Plant Safety And Health Specialist

OMU is accepting resumes for a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to provide safety oversight and supervision of its power plant operations including the development and administration of programs and procedures necessary to safeguard employees and the public. Responsibilities include the application of respirator program, air monitoring and analysis, site inspections, confined spaces, employee training and contractor safety. Must be knowledgeable of safety and health regulations. Experience in the utility industry desired with the ability to effectively relate to employees regarding work practices and procedures. A degree in Occupational Safety and Health desired.
