December 15, 2004: The Owensboro Utility Commission honored the winner of the 2004 Golden Santa Award at its regular meeting in December. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Basham were awarded a $250 OMU gift certificate, a lighted sign and bragging rights for their beautiful lighting display at 910 Hill Avenue.
Winners are also recognized by the Owensboro City Commission, where they receive a Golden Santa honor.
