OMU Announces 2005 Lighting Contest WinnerThe Owensboro Utility Commission honored the winner of the second annual Golden Santa Award at its meeting on Thursday, December 15. Ruth and Morris Harris of Heritage Park Drive received a lighted commemorative sign and a $250 gift certificate for their entry. OMU and the City of Owensboro Community Development Department hosted the contest for the second year in 2005. Entries were received at OMU's Customer Service Center, via the City Action Line and online at www.omu.org.
