The Owensboro Municipal Utility Commission honored the winner of the third annual Golden Santa/Holiday Lighting contest at its regular meeting on December 20.
This year's winners, Mr. & Mrs. Heflin Browning, were honored for their creativity, use of lights and overall appeal. Their home is located at 521 22nd Street.
Not only did the couple win bragging rights and a lighted sign announcing them as the winner, they also received a $250 OMU gift certificate.
OMU hosts the annual contest in conjunction with the City of Owensboro's Community Development Department.
